Volunteers & Visitors
At Fremont Elementary, we value our families and community members as essential partners in education. While we welcome and encourage volunteers, maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students is our top priority.
All visitors and volunteers must check in at the front office upon arrival and wear a visible visitor badge at all times while on campus. If someone knocks on a classroom door and requests to enter, we do not open the door. All visitors/volunteers must check-in at the front office.
Parents or community members who wish to volunteer on a regular or scheduled basis must complete a district-required background check. Additionally, any parent attending a field trip must complete a specific background check for that event.
- Even if a parent or volunteer states they’ve completed training, they must still check in at the front office prior to volunteering in a classroom.
